Description: Learn how diabetes can affect your memory, your feet, and your hearing. And what you can do about it. Also learn how a good diet can help you feel better. Free lunch for the first 100 registrants.
Discover a lineup of knowledgeable and enthusiastic speakers, including The Memory Clinic, with their presentation on healthy aging. Other topics will cover diabetes and heat stroke, memory, diabetes and hearing, and diabetes and foot health. Experts will explain how diabetes can affect these things and how people with the condition can care for themselves to minimize problems. Two experts will do FREE initial foot and hearing checks for participants.
There will also be talks on good nutrition for people with diabetes, the use of glucose monitors and testers, and how to apply for a disability tax credit.
