Description : The role of an executor can be one of the most demanding jobs placed on a person. These individuals are tasked with handling the paperwork, the government notifications, moving or downsizing houses, and so much more, often in very short order.
Settling an estate can be a demanding, often full-time job, made even more challenging due to grief and loss. There are ways, however, to make the process easier and kinder on either yourself and/or your loved ones: by planning ahead.
Through advanced planning, you help life’s most challenging days be a little more comfortable, and you help protect executors from undue stress and burdens.
In this talk, we will walk through overarching strategies to set resources and information in place to help the executor navigate the first few days of their role, and to set them up for success in the weeks and months (yes, months) that follow.
